Cougar Offshore has advanced analytical expertize for system and component assessment. Fully coupled, large displacement, non-linear dynamic analyses are readily undertaken. Key assessments include:

Ultimate strength analyses provide much more meaningful data compared to static design analyses at less cost in most cases. Ultimate strength analyses provide an indication of structural robustness and tolerance to damage. Optimized strengthening schemes are derived based on system performance rather than individual component performance as determined using static strength analyses​.
